LakeLab does not have a legal form of its own yet, it is a group of people sharing an open workshop. An association is being founded; once it is registered it will be named here. Until then you can reach the people responsible at the address above.
Privacy
Contact form
When you write to us through the form, your name, email address and message are sent to our mailbox by email. We use them only to reply to you. We do not pass them on and we do not add you to any list.
Member area
Using the member area means leaving a name and registering the device you open it with. When you claim a machine we record which one, from when and for how long, plus a note if you write one. The same goes for whether you are currently in the lab, which days you plan to come, and what you post on the board. We need this so everyone can see whether a machine is free, and so that after a breakdown we can tell who last worked on it. This stays stored for as long as you are a member, because it is the basis for billing machine time. After that it is deleted, except what the accounts must keep. Nothing is passed on.
No analytics, no advertising
This website sets no cookies, counts no visitors and embeds no ad networks. The fonts sit on our own server, so nothing is loaded from elsewhere for them either.
Map
The contact page embeds a Google Maps view. When you open that page your browser loads data from Google and passes on your IP address. That is outside our control and Google privacy terms apply.
Server logs
Like any web server, ours records which pages are requested. We only look at those logs when something is broken.
Images
Every photo on this website was taken in the workshop by us.
Liability
We do our best to keep this accurate. We cannot guarantee completeness or correctness, in particular for hours and contributions. The operators of linked websites are responsible for their own content.
